We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead from the front across Australia and New Zealand in this complex environment, while contributing to the global procurement objectives.
This organisation, with over $9 billion in turnover, is one of the worlds leading businesses of its kind and employs well over 1000 people in Australia. The procurement requirements are diverse and whilst strategic procurement has been an emphasis in this business for some time, we are looking for someone who can continue to build capability and enhance the reputation of procurement to the diverse stakeholders.
This opportunity will require you to manage a small team but will be hands on in delivery of projects and sourcing activities. You will also be highly adept at ‘managing up’ and able to through continuous improvement strive for best practice procurement in all endeavours.
Your sourcing skills will be highly evolved, particularly in indirects, capex and opex and in the strategic element of go to market planning and engagement.
You will be able to present to global executives while having a local focus, and will demonstrate your excellent service and influencing skills with the geographically diverse and sometimes regional stakeholders.
Passionate and experienced in strategic procurement, you will ideally have a relevant tertiary qualification and be looking to work for an organisation who value diversity, employee engagement and striving for success.
