The Mahogany Assistant Manager reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and is responsible for the daily operations of the Restaurant. The position is accountable for the efficient operation of the outlet, managing guest expectations and providing a professional approach and image. Responsibilities also include training and rostering staff. Additionally, this position will involve an understanding of cost control and how it relates to other expenses, beverage costs & P&L.

 

What you need:

  • Previous management experience in a fast paced premium restaurant
  • Ability to motivate staff and provide leadership and support
  • Ability to coach and train staff effectively on Standard Operating Procedures
  • Exceptional grooming standards appropriate for a 5 star environment
  • Confident liaising with guests on all levels
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
