Based on St Kilda Rd our client is a boutique fashion, apparel and textile recruiter. Managing some of the biggest names in the market, they have a highly favourable reputation amongst clients and candidates, making them stand out from their competitors. Currently they are looking to appoint a strong Candidate Manager who has an in-depth understanding of the industry and roles. As the Candidate Manager you will be sourcing candidates for roles such as Production Coordinator, Merchandiser, Women’s / Children’s / Men’s Wear Designer, Graphic Designer, QA Technician, Garment Technician / Pattern Maker and Retail Store Manager. You must know what these roles involve and should be able to accurately place candidates into these positions. You day-to-day responsibilities will be: - Liaising with the Business Development Manager / Account Manager to obtain an accurate job briefs
- Writing and post advertisements on all job boards
- Updating the company website
- Interviewing
- Conducting candidate searches and managing the extensive database
- Managing candidates on professional networking sites including LinkedIn
- Shortlisting and coordinating interviews with the client
- Reference Checking
Ideally this role will suit someone who has come from a Fashion / Apparel Recruitment background but dislikes the sales element, someone who has come from Internal Recruitment or someone with a strong Retail background that wants to get into Recruitment.
