My client is looking for an experienced Performance Tester for a short term 8-10 Week Contract based in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing performance test using HP Loadrunner to ensure the application and infrastructure can handle the expected load:

Role Purpose:
The Test Analyst Automation will be responsible for assisting with the set-up of Test Automation Tools as well as creating, updating and executing test scripts using these tools.
Automated testing will be required for Non-Functional Requirements testing and may be required for a selection of Regression tests that are suitable for automation.
Support will also be required for ensuring integration of the automation tools with HPQC and any BAU integration.

Role Dimensions
 Provide input into Automation test plans and approach
 Scope, prepare, write, execute automation test scripts required for non-functional requirements testing
 Possibility of Scope, prepare, write, execute automation test scripts required for Regression testing
 Possible provision of support for Automation tool integration to HPQC/Solman as well as handover of Regression tests to BAU

Role Accountabilities
 System setup and on-going maintenance of HP Performance Center Load Runner/QTP and other automation tools for automation testing activities; 
 Test User ID setup with appropriate security profiles for each test stage, Security Team to assist;
 Write code to ensure Automation Tools are connected to the right applications to enable testing
 Problem-solve/trouble-shoot any connectivity issues and defects related to automation configuration and set-up
 Write queries and prepare reports as required for automation test scripts
 Assess performance issues and provide guidance on where possible improvements could be made
 Coordination of Automation test client setup activities to ensure Automation Test Activities commence on time;
 Coordination of environment setup across all systems for AutomationTesting;
 Driving the closure of automation defects, ownership assignment, providing updates as required
 Providing status reports on automation testing progress;
 Provide update on test execution and defect fixes where appropriate;
 Production of high quality work, adhering to the NESS project standard;
 Continuing to develop own capability for working in current and future roles;
