Senior Solutions Consultant - Credit Risk Focus

About the role:

This new position has become available as this market leading company is undergoing a massive growth period which anticipates 80 hires this year alone. It is the ideal role for someone looking to grow on there all round consulting skills and engaging resources from Sales, Product Management, BTS, Solution Specific Solution Consultants to enable proof of concepts in solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with Strategic Relationship Managers to develop insights into customer business drivers, credit risk concerns and legislative impacts that will lead to the development of sizable opportunities
  • Work with Sales management team to develop a consultancy capability that will be engaged by primary sectors and key customers for billable consulting engagements
  • Work with the Product Development Group to define customisations and enhancements for the delivery of solutions to customers
  • Provide input into strategic account plans and planning
  • Small amounts of travel may be required within Sydney
  • The role is a position with a primary focus on the top 30 revenue producing and potential revenue producing customers

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Applied Science or related discipline
  • Completion of the Financial Institute of Australia's Diploma of Financial Services will be highly regarded
  • Seeking someone ideally with a Financial Services background and credit risk exposure
  • A minimum of 5-10 years experience in varied roles having gained knowledge in sales, consultancy, risk management, databases, Excel and IT
  • A proven consultative sales experience, with a track record of being able to develop, present multi-million dollar, multi-year, solution-based sales
  • A very commercial person with the ability to gain buy in from senior staff and clients easily
  • Offer new strategic approaches to bring in new business from leveraging off your highly influential connected network
