Our client, Australias largest supplier of processed textile fibre products is currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join their team based on the North Side of Brisbane.

The successful applicant will work in the Tontine Thermal and Acoustic Insulation section where once trained they will be responsible for the general set up, operation & fault finding of their machinery. This position will require the occasional supervision of staff and will alternate between both day and afternoon shifts with the occasional overtime and weekend work.

To be considered for this position you will need posess the following skills and attributes:

• Own licence and transport

• Proven background in setting up, adjusting, operating and fault finding on machines (Insulation Environment highly desirable)

• Advanced mechanical aptitude

• Advanced interpersonal communication and numeracy skills

• Ability to operate in a team environment

• Proven background in team leader position/duties

• Ability to alternate between day and afternoon shifts as well as work overtime and weekends
