You will be working with some of the newest products hitting the Australian market. In addition to that you will be working closely with your manager in regards to presenting solutions and advice to senior internal and external stakeholders. This role will provide you with different challenges day in and day out.
As the Quality Control Officer you will provide effective advice and support for all matters regarding regulatory affairs. You will be involved in the product certification for white and brown goods, which include household appliances, both large and small, audio devices, TV's and various other products. You will be required to communicate to factories, test labs and product managers to progress product certification and attend various meeting in regards to quality issues with various consumer electronic products.
In addition you will be responsible for:
- Product certification for both Australia and NZ
- Communicate with factories, test labs & product managers in order to progress product certification in accordance with marketing release schedules
- Updated the product regulation database
- Preparing information for government bodies
- Attend government and/or industry meetings
- Visit test labs with management
- Perform additional task when needed
As the successful candidate you will have:
- A successful track record in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of technical terminology
- Good time management
- A strong attention to detail
- An Electronics Trade Certification (required)
