Our Fremantle based client requires a number of careful car/ute/van drivers to load and offload new vehicles for long haul transportation.

You must be over 25 for insurance purposes and have held a full Australian C class MANUAL drivers license for at least 5 years.

Other ESSENTIAL requirements include a current MSIC* card, navy blue work pants and steel cap boots (Drake will provide you with a suitable high-vis shirt). You must be able to deploy at short notice, have a mature and sensible mind set and be extremely mindful and respectful of OH&S policies and procedures.

Work can be sporadic with shifts revolving right around the clock. Shifts are a minimum 8 hours, maximum 12, with an average of 10 hours and the rate of pay is a flat $45 so you will average a HUGE $450 per shift!!! Being sporadic hours though means the days and times of the shifts will vary each week so you will need to be prepared to offer us and our client ultimate flexibility as well as longevity as we would prefer to maintain trained and experienced candidates on site.

Desirable but not essential are a White Card, Forklift (LF) ticket, Crane Ticket, any official OH&S related tickets/training and driving work requiring high levels of attention to detail

NB: This work can be very mundane and repetitive so you must be able to remain calm, patient and focussed for long periods of time without being easily distracted.

Work commences from mid February and is ongoing for those who prove their worth.
