The State are currently requiring a number of qualified social workers to work within various child protection teams in a number of locations including Katherine, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Kakadu. Essential Criteria for the Role: - Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services
- Hold a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience within Child Protection
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
Duties include: case management, liaising with external agencies and foster carers, investigation and assessment and provide reports that may be presented within legal procedures.
